Jay N Bartholomew

Originally from Oklahoma but primarily raised in North Texas, I now live in Danielson, Connecticut. While writing has long been my passion, nurtured by early encouragement from a beloved teacher, I found a new love for drawing at an artist retreat in 2008, sparking a daily practice that continues to this day. Though my career took me through various roles in the software industry, including a current position as a Scrum Master, it's my art that truly fuels me. This year marks a significant step forward as I launch my website and participate in art festivals, eager to share my work and connect with fellow enthusiasts!

Day 24

I finished today’s picture rather early this morning after a bout of insomnia had me up and moving around 1am. Painting helps me relax and I was able to get back to sleep for a few hours around 5am or so. My voice in painting seems to be vivid colors, especially in the sky. I
